Our Apostle

Apostle Bill Anderson is the pastor of The Birth Cathedral located in Memphis, Tennessee. The Birth Cathedral later changed it's name to Transformation Church in 2015.  Apostle Anderson began fulfilling the call on his life in June of 1975 after being baptized at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. Apostle Anderson through much prayer, guidance and counsel from the Holy Spirit was directed in 2002 to plant his first church, Solid Rock Christian Church. Apostle planted his second church in June of 2010.  Apostle Anderson attributes the growth of the church to an effort to reach the un-churched population and effectively communicate the “Power of God”. Apostle Anderson with God’s anointing has created a ministry that does not believe in traditional programs of men. Often being recognized for his unconventional programs Apostle Anderson’s teachings have enabled many to experience salvation, deliverance, restoration and healing as a result of applying the “Power of God” to their lives. Apostle Anderson is a 1999 graduate of Crichton College in Memphis, Tennessee where he received his Business Administration degree. He also received his Masters of Business Administration degree from Madison University in 2004. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Business Administration. He shares his life and ministry with his wife, Kimberly Anderson, and daughter Kelli Nicole and sons, Jackson, Judah and Jentzen.
